Koh Bulon
Koh Bulon is a group of four small islands, which are part of a marine national park. The biggest, Ko Bulon Leh, lays 20 Km from the main land and is inhabited. Its a very nice island with sandy beaches and Casuarina trees. The other islands Rang, Maipai and Don are uninhabited, but can be reached by longtail boats for daytrips and snorkeling or relaxing on the beaches. Ko Bulon islands are quiet and tidy places. Only some backpacking travellers arrive from time to time. Its still a hideaway. From Bulon you can visit the other islands around and its possible to go to Koh Tarutao for an overnight stay.
How to reach: by boat from Pak Bara daily around noon in two hours. The boat stops at Bulon Leh on its way to Koh Lipe.
Rooms: Three resorts offer clean and simple rooms or bungalows and restaurants. The small village on the north coast has a little shop and a nice restaurant. You can also bring own tents to sleep on the beaches. Please check room availability before in Trang: First Andaman Travel (0066-75-218035).
Resorts: Pansand Resort - Bulone Resort - Marina Resort
Good for: Travelers, looking for a quiet place for relaxing, snorkeling or doing nothing. There is no entertainment on Bulon islands.
