About Koh Khram
Koh Khram is a small and unhihabited island offshore the southern Coast of Pattaya. Koh Khram is part of a marine protection zone and is controlled by the Thai Royal Marine in Sattahip. Two sandy bays are ideal for snorkeling and swimming. The coral reefs are intact. There is no infrastructure and no service on the island, so daytrip guests must bring food and water by themselfes. Visiting the island is prohibited at some times of the year, due to the protection of the sea turtles breeding here.
How to get there
Best to reach from Pattaya or Sattahip. Tour agencies offer daytrip speedboat services to the islands around Pattaya, including Koh Khram. Or take a longtail boat from the small village of Sattahip or Bang Sare to any place around Koh Khram and make sure, that the boat will pick you up later. There is no regular transportation to or from the island and entering the island is prohibited due to nature protection law and ownership by the Royal Thai Navy.
